Pat Buchanan appeared on MSNBC’s The News with Brian Williams last night. Forrest Sawyer asked him directly about the recent contentions that he is Deep Throat. What came out of his mouth was a classic Nixon-era non-denial denial. Sawyer, to his credit, called him on it. Buchanan repeated Sawyer’s words: “I, Pat Buchanan, am not Deep Throat.” Recall that “Woodstein” has said that Deep Throat has lied to the public about his identity. I would just love it if those University of Illinois journalism students got this right.
