Spinsanity continues taking the press to task for not correctly noting which Bush quote (“not interested”) Daschle responded to last week. Yesterday, I suggested that what’s at stake here are several important definitions: security, patriotism, and Iraq. The Washington Times ran a clarification today, and Brendan Nyhan criticizes it for not quoting the remarks in question. Nyhan concludes with this: “We can only wonder how members of the national press corps continue to get away with such obvious mistakes.”
