Steve Chapman can do without the Sunday news/political talk shows. And for a good reason:

That’s a damning condemnation of the Sunday shows such as Meet The Press and This Week. Isn’t perspective exactly what these shows are supposed to deliver?
That question assumes that the medium of television is capable of delivering perspective, which requires that a medium be able to properly convey propositional content (see media and political biases). Such content, however, is best conveyed in print. TV conveys drama and images best–content hardly conducive to perspective.
