Dan Gillmor says the “We Media” are here. But, then, you know that because at this very moment you’re reading one of the media types make up the “We Media.”
What makes it “we,” obviously, is that you may comment directly on my posts–as one person did yesterday setting me straight on a particularly sloppy bit of thinking. That’s the beauty of it.
Gillmor argues that the institution of journalism–the organizations that make up the profession–must get hip to this new conversation because it is here now and in many more forms than just blogs. What will this mean for traditional journalism?
